A play about poetry, climate change, and the porous boundary between public commitments and personal needs.  Set in a small college in the mid-Atlantic region, the play involves three coinciding events: the visit to fictional Renfield College by a renowned poet; a protest of the college’s investment in fossil fuel holdings; and 2 FBI agents’ investigation (under cover) of a drug trafficking operation.  Turns out these things are not unrelated.  By the end, a fractured father-daughter begins to heal, an FBI agent falls in love with poetry, and (we hope) people leave the theater thinking in new ways about the consequence of verbal imagination.
