And So It Begins

And So It Begins

“All paths lead to the same goal: to convey to others what we are.”
Pablo Neruda

With that very goal, MCT is embarking on a two-fold path: one that is deeply familiar, and one that is totally new.

We begin an inspiring new season at our theater in the Oddfellows Building with the Tony-award-winning “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time.” In a beautiful, imaginative way it conveys the experience of someone who might otherwise have remained unknowable.

Meanwhile, we are also thoughtfully planning future seasons at the new theater complex in Cussewago Square. There’s so much to consider: seating, lighting, sound; set building, costume storage, dressing rooms! These are wonderful problems to solve, and we feel lucky to tackle them.

Throughout it all, we remain right in the heart of our community, always hoping to “convey what we are.” Whether through a laugh-out-loud spoof, or a provocative drama, if our productions offer a glimpse of our shared humanity, then we are on track.

Hope you can join us – as cast or crew, as volunteers, as supporters, as audience members. We are on a path – it’s all good, it’s all exciting, and we can’t do it without you!
