The Dinner Party

Performance Dates: September 16-25, 2022

Audition Dates: Attend one of the following: Sunday, July 17, 2:00-3:00pm, Monday, July 18, 6:00-7:00pm, Thursday, July 21, 7:00pm

Audition Location: Meadville Community Theatre, 400 N. Main Street, Meadville, PA. You may enter through the stage door off the parking lot in the back of the building.

Audition Details: You will be asked to read a short passage from the script, which will be provided at the audition. 

Characters:
the men:
Claude Pichon – Claude is a good-looking smart and sophisticated character.
Albert Donay – Albert is a nice guy, but a bit geeky. He always a step behind the crowd.
Andre Bouville – Andre is a very successful man who has little patience. He is aggressive and temperamental.
the women:
Mariette Levieux – Mariette is a beautiful, strong woman who makes a great first appearance. She hides her flaws.
Yvonne Fouchet – Yvonne is a nice character, but she is also very shy and somewhat flaky.
Gabrielle Bouville – Gabrielle is a charming energetic character. She is a free spirit.

Here is a dinner party served up in a chaotic mode that only a master of comedy could create. Five people are invited to dine at a first rate restaurant. They do not know who the other guests will be or why they have been invited. Tossed together in a private dining room, they have a sneaking suspicion that this unorthodox dinner party will forever change their lives.
